At The 19th, we aim to be a source of news and information for those who have been underserved by and underrepresented in American media. Our goal is to empower those we serve — particularly women, women of color and the LGBTQ+ community — with the information, resources and community they need to be equal participants in our democracy.
The 19th’s small-but-mighty creative team is looking for a brand designer to help us craft award-winning visuals that tell The 19th’s story. As our first brand designer, you’ll have the opportunity to create exceptional, meaningful work and problem-solve with innovative team members in pursuit of our mission. Together, you’ll help elevate readers’ voices, engage our community and build The 19th’s brand.
As Brand Designer, you will create effective and beautiful brand assets for external and internal audiences across platforms, including website, social, video, live events, ads and print. This role will collaborate across departments (including events, editorial, product, and partnerships) to nurture and expand the brand.
