Job Description

We're looking for a Visual & Communications Designer who loves to craft compelling, human-centered stories around strategic content and product designs for Fortune 100 companies and new incubated ventures. This person will support a series of phases of design -- engagement facilitation, conception, ideation, design, research, and go-to market. A Visual & Communications Designer at Runyon should demonstrate excellent self-management (ability to work both independently and with direction), and have the ability to easily adapt to new challenges, content, and switch fluidly between projects and clients. Responsibilities including creating compelling visual stories for the human-centered design strategies we’re shaping for our partners, providing the visual excitement and information they require to build net new products and ventures; sketching concepts and testable paper prototypes as a way to bring ideas to life for team/partner collaboration; and, visualizing product and service opportunities for venture incubation projects and pitches. A candidate in this role should be able to listen to users at every step of the process and turn user needs into meaningful, compelling designs.
