JUST seeks to support the growth of up-and-coming designers to create a more just world as much as we seek to find support for the organization and is seeking a part-time, Junior Architectural Designer, who resonates with our cause and can assist with research, design ideation/development, and drawing production. This is an independent contractor position, and the ideal candidate will grow with the organization. Interested candidates should: Be passionate about social justice, the environment and design. Be a problem-solver and curious. Organized, responsive and dependable. Have a minimum 2-4yrs of experience (Currently pursuing, or have, a B. Arch or M. Arch or have experience in an architecture or design studio). Be available during pacific timezone work hours and able to work 10-20 hours per week. Setup for remote work (our team is currently fully remote). Have proficiency in the following software: Adobe Creative Cloud, MIRO, Rhino, GIS Platforms, Revit, rendering platforms.
