Job Description

As a senior content designer for eBay Motors, you’ll build a best-in-class buying and selling experience for vehicles, parts, and accessories. You’ll be responsible for developing and owning the end-to-end in-product content strategy for mobile and desktop in tandem with our UX design team. And you become comfortable with expressing a POV that considers perspectives from partner teams, anticipating risks, and engaging in healthy debate that leads to resolution. The full-stack senior content designer, knows writing is designing. You see language as a design material and as an integral part of the UX Design process–and you get others to think the same. You can build a scalable content framework that others can use to build a coherent experience, especially when you’re not in the room. You not only understand how to evaluate the quality of content design, but also how to improve it. You enjoy working with cross-discipline partners to define the margins, strategies, and outcomes in ambiguous spaces. And while being a Motors gear head yourself is a plus, it’s not a requirement. As a senior content designer, you’ll have tried and true strategies for empathizing with an audience that’s different from you and for quickly learning a new subject area.
