Job Description
Who we are CultureLab is a cultural intelligence platform helping the world’s top brands become additive to popular culture. We quantify global culture so brands can play an additive role. We’re the insight industry’s best kept secret… but not for much longer. We’re common people, straight-talking and human. Our approach is to deliver accessible, pragmatic, and intelligent insights with strategic recommendations. Project context Each year, as part of our company marketing we produce a zine, called CultureWORKS, featuring trends, insights and stories from the fringes of popular culture. These are distributed to marketers across the world’s best brands, across Europe and North America. The mag has an existing visual ID that we're happy with, and we have a CultureLab brand book, so you won't need to start from scratch and do lots of development work. The most important thing is creativity combined with efficiency and quick communication, as we'll be working to a hard print deadline. What you’ll do 1. Design and layout a magazine from cover to cover (roughly 50 pages), working from a simple pagination/flat plan which we'll provide 2. Create a new standout front cover 3. Create a flyer for an industry event. Skills needed 1. Strong fundamentals in print design, with experience creating zines 2. High attention to detail and pride in craft 3.
