The Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago presents cutting-edge cinema to an annual audience of 100,000. One of the largest annual film festivals the Film Center hosts is the Black Harvest Film Festival. Since 1994, the Black Harvest Film Festival has been Chicago’s annual showcase for films that celebrate, explore, and share the Black, African American, and African Diaspora experience. More info can be found at: siskelfilmcenter.org/blackharvest We are seeking a Graphic Designer to help develop a new visual identity for the Black Harvest Film Festival in 2024. It is the 30th anniversary of the festival, so it's a perfect time to bring a fresh perspective to its visual presence. This will include the development of a logo, colorways, brand guidelines, and templates for deliverables (ads, social media, and more). The project will include two parts: developing the visual identity and helping develop templates for marketing materials.
