Job Description

Genomics England partners with the NHS to provide whole genome sequencing diagnostics. We also equip researchers to find the causes of disease and develop new treatments – with patients and participants at the heart of it all. We’re looking for a Senior Service Designer to join our thriving Design & Research practice. As a Service Designer at Genomics England you will lead the design of end-to-end service journeys and work closely with service owners, programme leads and other cross functional partners to bring these services to life. You’ll be responsible for translating user needs and bringing a human-centred approach to designing services that are capable of solving high complexity problems spanning multiple teams/domains. In addition to designing cutting-edge healthcare services, you will play a crucial role in advancing our own design capabilities by improving standards and processes, participating in our Design Studio critique sessions and coaching more junior members of the team.
