What you will be doing: • Creating and critiquing bold, attention-grabbing advertisements for print, billboards, TV, social, and more • Having a strong vision for how to consistently strengthen the agency’s creative process • Leading a growing team of designers, A/V producers, digital experts, web developers, and ad buyers and ensuring synchronicity across those groups • Providing strategic insight and art direction for the agency’s creative output • Ensuring all creative output reflects agency best practices while helping to define and evolve those best practices and related systems • Overseeing key creative elements of client pitches and proposals • Overseeing key multi-group creative budgets, timelines • Ensuring creative staff experience robust professional development • Meeting with clients and executive staff to explain creative campaign strategies and solutions • Reviewing work, troubleshooting and providing feedback to creative teams • Coaching, mentoring, and leading the overall creative division which includes groups for A/V, design, digital, and web • Remaining actively involved in recruiting, hiring and training creative staff Your skills and experience: • At least 12 years of relevant experience performing and managing a range of creative positions ideally in an Agency-setting • Proven track record translating complex ideas into compelling advertising campaigns and collateral • Fluency with website development, U/X and U/I best practices, A/V production, and digital • Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork skills • Organizational and multitasking abilities • Track record of mentoring others • Attention to detail • Critical thinking skills • Strong decision-making skills What we offer: 617MediaGroup provides a generous benefits package, including: • 100 percent coverage for health, vision, dental, disability, and life insurance premiums • Up to six weeks of paid parental leave • Time off, including up to 20 vacation days, plus 13 paid holidays each year, plus 8 additional annual paid time off days • 401(k) retirement plan • Union membership • Wellness initiatives, including weekly meditation sessions, monthly yoga classes, fitness reimbursements • 24-hour access to mental health resources through our union’s Employee Assistance Program • An emphasis on continuing education and professional development • Discounted rates on tickets to professional sporting events • Paid company cell phone For this role, we are accepting applications from candidates located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston area. Salary: $135,000+ commensurate to experience.
