We are looking for a Motion Designer with an inquisitive mind and passion for creating unique content to join our team who can bring experience and qualities to enhance our already talented team. The ideal candidate • Passionate creative who can interrogate and interpret briefs, developing creative ideas and concepts with supporting visual assets (mood boards, identities and visuals) • Must have a cultural awareness of the events landscape with respect to current creative and experiential trends • Ideally has events industry experience and an understanding of live show production • High level of detail and delivery with a perfectionist attitude upholding the highest standards in video production • Dedicated, proactive and able to work under pressure, and not fazed by tight deadlines • Able to work across multiple large and small-scale briefs with multiple teams • Self-motivated, organized, consistently proactive and showing initiative; able to manage their own time well, and not fazed by tight deadlines • You’re approachable with a collaborative/team-player attitude • Ability to confidently and clearly present ideas Key day to day tasks • Video capture of team live events • Video editing, ranging from remote sessions to opening VT’s, sizzle reels, highlight videos, case studies and social media shorts • Creating 2D motion graphics including title animations, stings, interstitials, explainer animations/infographics • Working with production & creative teams to understand project scope and objectives • Participating in creative brainstorm sessions and visual explorations for content creative development • Selecting audio, video, colour, and animation styles on each project • Working to tight deadlines whilst not compromising on quality and creative • Providing show-ready outputs to accurate specifications (traditional 16:9 and non-traditional aspect ratios) Technical Knowledge • Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign • Knowledge of Motion Design with After Effects as an essential skill • Proficient in Keynote and PowerPoint • Illustration skills would be beneficial • A confident artworker Key Skills • Capable of creating video content for digital and live events, ranging from BTS to basic event edits to post campaign report videos • Can create show motion graphics to stand-alone creative pieces and concept development • Is a digital design wizard with a passion for content creation • Has a strong eye for detail and the ability to translate brands and visual identity into compelling video and animated content • Can confidently develop style frames and storyboard concepts • Can demonstrate a range of styles and disciplines and comfortable working across B2B, consumer and company events • You are confident in liaising with clients and stakeholders at all levels • You are comfortable with taking feedback and incorporating it quickly, prioritizing and adapting to ever-changing demands Experience required: • 2 years+ experience ideally within agency/events business This is an office-based role that will require you to spend time in meetings and briefings, as well as staying in close contact with the team and clients. It can be demanding, but very rewarding. Working hours will be standard office times; however, deadlines may stretch this further.
