The strategist is both an internal and external role, leading effective digital marketing efforts for the agency and our clients. This is a new role to Spicefire, so there is great opportunity to establish and execute a vision for what this could be. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our capabilities, growing our client base, and improving our product. For our clients, this role will complement our existing digital efforts with more rigor, analytics, and stronger implementation. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Strategist will help identify new opportunities to grow and expand our work with current and future clients. Our current digital projects include a mix of website development, live user testing, and social campaign development and execution but there is much opportunity to expand our offerings based on client demand and need. For Spicefire, you will lead the acceleration of our external marketing efforts with responsibility for crafting our digital narrative, website optimization/ performance and marketing activation – helping us establish when, where and how we should show up. For both, the work can range from website development and analytics, content marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, lead generation, social media marketing, data analytics, paid social and establishing digital marketing best practices for both our clients and our agency. Digital Marketing Strategist Responsibilities: • Establish and execute digital marketing plan for Spicefire • Strengthen existing and build new digital strategy offerings • Leverage data analytics to evaluate marketing strategy success and optimize future campaigns • Optimize SEO/SEM for the agency and potential clients • Website performance optimization • Drive value for the organization • Analyze and report on digital campaigns • Research the latest digital tools and interactive trends • Lead clients with expert consultation Digital Marketing Strategist Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or above in advertising, marketing, communication science or equivalent • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Firm grasp of emerging digital tools • Thorough understanding of digital touchpoints • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Can deliver projects on time and on budget • Insightful and perceptive • Understanding of digital analytics • Possess broad knowledge of best digital practices
