At Artemis Ward, interactive design is an integral facet of brand storytelling and digital experiences. We are looking for a mid to senior interactive designer who can move seamlessly from concept to execution, designing and producing innovative motion packages for brands across industries. You have a strong creative sensibility and love the challenge of pushing into new territory. At Artemis Ward, you will be part of a highly collaborative environment where everyone is given a chance to succeed and push their skills to new levels. This position reports into our Washington, D.C. office. Core Responsibilities: - Leads efforts to execute creative concepts in a cross-disciplinary manner, partnering with the creative director, strategists, writers, and designers to produce smart, innovative work - Apply strategic knowledge of the digital and social landscape to all work efforts - Design and produce engaging motion graphics and video content for social media - Combines strategic rigor with design vision in order to bring discipline, purpose, and impact to every deliverable - Exhibit excellent communication skills as well as an ability to manage expectations about project timelines and deliverables - Show up to work each day with a curious mindset and a positive attitude Must haves: - 5+ years relevant experience at an agency or in-house - Extensive experience creating motion graphics and video content, with an emphasis on social media - Advanced knowledge of Adobe software: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator - Strong portfolio rooted in visual design with an emphasis on motion design - Expertise in maintaining brand consistency throughout all design projects for each client’s specific needs - Comfort presenting to clients and partners - An exploratory edge and an affinity for discovering new technology - High drive and pride in your work Nice to haves: - Experience working across a range of industries and platforms - Experience designing for responsive interfaces, using programs and tools like Sketch, Figma, InVision, Adobe XD - A few good stories to roll out during happy hour What we offer - Competitive salary - Medical, dental, and vision - Paid holidays and vacation - 401K About Artemis Ward We strive to do good work with good people.
