Job Description

The College of Design, University of Minnesota — Twin Cities seeks to fill up to two Lecturer or Teaching Specialist positions to teach critical core design foundation courses at the undergraduate level. We invite qualified individuals with expertise in teaching foundation design courses to apply. Applicants should be highly capable of teaching design drawing foundations (perspective, sketching, Human Figure, etc). Additionally, the individual could also teach foundation courses in color theory, design thinking/process, form development, and graphic design foundations. These foundation courses are part of the freshman experience for all students across the Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Product Design and Retail Merchandising programs.
