Job Description

Blink is looking for a Head of Technical Strategy to join our team. Working within the design group at Blink, this person acts as a bridge between design and development, ensuring that the development team can fully realize the design and helping designers understand how the design can be more easily implemented. This position is multi-faceted, working with external partners, internal Blink team members, and client development teams to implement solutions. Some of the key responsibilities for the role include collaborating with stakeholders (project managers, business development, & external clients) to scope new engagements, creating high-level development specs, and consulting between design and development teams to ensure the smooth execution of designs. To be successful in this role you will need to possess superior technical, communication, and consulting skills. You will also need to be entrepreneurial and in almost all cases sell yourself into projects by showing your value to our clients. We are a small, growing team, so it’s important to have an interest in building and improving processes and working in ambiguous environments. We plan on growing a team of technologists that this position will manage as business increases. This role's location is flexible. Blink has offices in Seattle, San Diego, San Francisco, and Boston and employees in many other locations working remotely.
