Secret Sauce is a small, multidisciplinary design firm with a focus on digital technology start-ups. We collaborate with our clients to create cutting-edge brands, immersive and 3D digital experiences, and stunning websites. We are looking for a contract junior designer to join our distributed creative team. This position will be roughly 8-10 hours per week, with potential for full-time work given client need. After a trial period, the contract is 6+ months. Responsibilities: Our clients range in industry from ESG to web3 to immersive storytelling, and require a broad range of design assets. Under direction of our lead designer, responsibilities include: packaging assets for delivery, using an existing brand system to design presentation slides for our current slate of clients (occasionally including the creation of simple graphics from complex concepts), and assisting in the creation of assets for a variety of design needs.. No copy-writing necessary, but an ability to quickly synthesize ideas and distill them down to a simple graphic will be key. Experience: -3+ years experience graphic design, especially deck design -Understanding of human-centered design principles and processes -Ability and willingness to dive into new industries -Strong visual design background and knowledge of leading edge design trends -Strong organizational skills and desire to maintain design systems/processes -Fluency with Figma, for wire-framing, design, prototyping, and development handoff. *Portfolio required to be considered for this position* Great talent comes from everywhere.
