Job Description

We are looking for a U.S.-based, multi-talented designer to join our Brand Support team. What does that mean at Focus Lab? You will be leading a variety of agile design projects available only to past and present Focus Lab clients. As the name suggests, the Brand Support team’s focus is supporting clients with their varying needs post-branding, whether it’s pre-launch or ongoing design support. We're looking for a detailed-orientated individual, with a proven history of working with key company stakeholders that can not only provide expert-level knowledge to our many clients, but guide them to the best design solutions for their project. You will be the champion of all things visual, applying and expanding upon Focus Lab-created brands across a variety of mediums. This includes, but is not limited to, presentation decks, print collateral, trade show booths, web page reskins, ebooks, social media, and more. Some of it will be fun, like custom hot sauce packaging or launch swag. Some of it will feel standard too, but those pieces are no less engaging or fun. It's all incredibly valuable to our clients, and you will play a big part in that. Because our clients’ needs vary greatly, we’re looking for someone whose skills do too. You should be as comfortable in Photoshop and Illustrator as you are in Figma. You know how to maintain brand consistency and can follow brand guidelines whether you’re creating a web page design or a Powerpoint deck. Finally, you will be a member of our tight-knit, supportive community of designers at Focus Lab, and will engage with the team through creative group sessions/critique, mid-week proofs, attending design conferences, group meetings and more. We're not looking to see if you have a degree in design. Many of our teammates are self-taught. We're looking to see that you are an empathic designer and strategic thinker whose love of the craft goes beyond self-expression.
